I visited her grave in an impressive cemetery for Russians who had escaped the Red Menace of post WW1 and later generations. It is outside Paris.A place named St.Genevieve Des Bois. The cemetery has a beautiful Russian church and grounds.Many tours are given by arrangement visiting other famous names that are interned there.Odile`s parents both escaped Russia and they had four children that became actresses.Unfortunately,as I write this,only one sister survives.Marina Vlady.My favourite Odile film is A Day To Remember .I like the finale as she runs to the jetty and waving goodbye,take care.She could be calling to us all! Bye Tania.......

I saw her in A Day to Remember and Young Lovers...in England....I now live in the USA...sHE WAS VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL...

I first saw this beautiful lady as a teenager in London.I was smitten.Still am 50 years later. I have her photos covering my basement walls. How sad she passed away so young! I enjoy looking at her photos and always wished that I could have said hello to her. Rest in peace,Tania.Your gone now but your films are still here for us....

Odile Versois (14 June 1930 – 23 June 1980) was a French actress who appeared in 47 film and television productions between 1948 and 1980. Versois was the sister of actresses Marina Vladi, Hélène Vallier and Olga Baïdar-Poliakoff; her father was a noted artist of Russian heritage. Born Tatiana de Poliakoff-Baidaroff in Paris, like her siblings, she began acting as a child and for a while pursued a ballet career. She married to actor Jacques Dacqmine but divorced. Later she had four children with her second husband, with whom she married in 1953 but also divorced. She died at the age of 50 of cancer in Paris.
