I am a diehard Priyanka Chopra fan. She has got this amazing energy, it's very intoxicating and style-wise Sonam Kapoor has a fantastic sense. She doesn't hesitate from experimenting. (indyafm.com)
My parents kept us protected from gossip and no film magazines were allowed at home. My friends were kids I’d known since I was four and they were least interested in my family or the industry. I went to the regular, non-filmi Arya Vidya Mandir School, and studied further in Singapore. (indyafm.com)
The whole point of the look is very wild and other worldly. It reminds me of the Shakespeare's description of Elizabethan age and their jewelleries. This one piece enhances your beauty. There is a special mechanism which makes the flowers open and close. (planetbollywood.com)
My dad used to call me a 'giraffe' because I was tall and thin. I put on weight while I was in boarding school like anyone else. It was easy for me to lose it, 80 percent of losing weight is what you eat. Exercise matters, but at the end of the day, you are what you eat.. (indyafm.com)
Definitely Kangana Ranaut! She has what it takes to carry off something as experimental as a plastic outfit! Sonam Kapoor is another actress who can do it. I loved the way she carried herself in that Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown at Cannes (indya.com)
About Herself:
I like books a lot. When I was younger I finished Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Enid Blyton rather than playing with dolls or going out. My friends hate that about me. But I love reading and movies because you can be in another world. I’m a nerd.
Crave to create. We lived in a very creative atmosphere. I loved watching Sridevi, Madhuri and Rani dance. I joined Kathak classes and learnt it for 12 years. (sonam-kapoor.net)
About Sanjay Leela Bhansali:
If I wanted to act with him, I would not have gone as a 90-kilo girl. I would have done my eyebrows, not worn glasses and at least groomed myself a little bit before going. That was not my intention, I was too young and I wanted to go to university but it was destiny or fate I don’t know but I wanted to work with him. (indyafm.com)
About Ranbir Kapoor:
Ranbir is a childhood friend and one of my best friends. There’s a comfort level that’s always been there. So there was no competition. I know he’s going to be a huge star so maybe I can get some mileage out of that too. So if the movie does well and he’s going to be a huge star, maybe something will happen for me also. (indya.com)
About Rani Mukerji:
Well, basides being a family friend, Rani is one of my favourite actors and she was most amazing on the sets of Black, where I assisted Mr Bhansali. It was very touching that she knew all the assistants by name. When we would all sit down for lunch, she'd recount the most funny anecdotes. We'd just crack up all the time. But I actually realised what a genuine person she was when there was a continuity jerk with one of the assistants... It was on a close-up of Mr Bachchan and he's too senior for a mess up to happen. Rani realised what was happening and she quickly took the blame, saying it wasn't the assistant's fault but hers. That was such a learning experience for me. (indyafm.com)
