Laura Shields (born 19 September 1983) Laura Shields is an English-Sri Lankan model and actress. Born in Oldham and brought up in Rochdale, she was signed to Elite Modeling Agency before her 15th birthday. Laura stopped modelling to concentrate on school, earning a masters degree in chemical engineering from Leeds University. She is also a member of the high IQ society Mensa.
