Mary Ambrose was heavily involved with Robert Palmer's manager, Mick Carter, from 1995 to 2003. The two were extremely close, and had a son together in 2001. Carter's relationship with Ambrose got him in legal hot water when Robert Palmer died in '03. Carter reported Mary Ambrose as being Palmer's partner, even though Palmer was engaged to Geraldine Edwards, due to his relationship with her, and was called on the carpet for it. His favor to Ambrose backfired in a big way.

Mary Ambrose dated David C. Copley of Copley Media from '95 to '98, though they were not exclusive. Robert Palmer arranged a date with Copley for Mary, and they got along well. Copley broke up with Mary in '98.

Assured Fielding it wouldn't grass up their relationship. Fielding stopped seeing Mary soon after.

I worked as a bookkeeper for Robert Palmer, who was very close friends with Jack Bruce. Robert Palmer sometimes dated Mary Ambrose, who also worked for him as his housekeeper and PA. Robert introduced her to Jack Bruce, and the two started dating, even though Jack was married to Margit Seyffer at the time. Jack was one of those men who had a problem with fidelity. Mary and Jack's relationship ended badly when Mary discovered that Jack was not planning on marrying her. She became furious, and tried to make trouble for him. She actually believed she was going to be Jack's next wife. She tried to interfere with his relationship with Robert Palmer, but Robert put her in her place on that score, and told her to leave Jack alone. She stopped harassing Jack after that.

Mary Ambrose dated one of Robert Palmer's sometimes rhythm guitar players who appeared in a couple of Palmer's videos for Drive who went by the name of Jimmy S. after Palmer's death. He is the very blond musician featured in Palmer's "Why get up" and others. Their relationship ended at the end of 2006.

Palmer exhibited poor taste in involving himself with her. I suspect that he thought nobody was going to find out about his happy little arrangement with all pro Mary, complete with a background in pandering. Sometimes people think that they are getting away with something when they are not. The man must be rolling in his grave. Sadly, while Mary languishes in the slam, her sole direct relative Michael Ambrose Jr. has taken over the rearing of her three children. He has been given permanent custody of the children and Mary Ambrose's parential rights have been removed legally. The court made a good call there. No kids need a jailbird for a parent.

Mary Ambroses's famous last words: I was only selling flowers! What a jerk Ambrose is, bilking seniors out of their retirement funds. I hope she enjoys her time in prison. Maybe she can get some work as a back up singer when she is released. It's obvious to me what Palmer liked about Ambrose. Jamesy is right on. I saw a full body picture of Mary Ambrose where Robert Palmer was standing about five feet away from her and pretending that he did not know her. She weighed at least 175 pounds. The woman is fat. I really don't think that Palmer was checking out her figure though. He was more interested in her big smile.

Unless Mary Ambrose can get interested in women or prison guards, then I guess she won't be dating. It is true that she is now behind bars for the third time. Sheesh, I don't know what Robert Palmer would see in a person like Ambrose. She was arrested once for pandering and we all know what that means. Maybe that is what he saw in her. I certainly do not think much of a man who would find that appetizing.

Robert Palmer's girlfriend would not write in to this site. That was just someone who was fond of the lunatic Mary Ambrose trying to make her look bad. The woman is a legal administrator and would not waste her time with this. Also, she is happily married. To the editor of this site, why don't you put up a site about Mary Ambrose and Mick Carter, Robert Palmer's manager, because they had a child together in 2001. Ambrose had another child with Christian Charmoux, a friend of Robert Palmer's in 2002. She had a third child in 2008 with a man named Robby Cartwright. She also briefly dated Jack Bruce during one of his separations from Margrit, whom he remains with today. And there were many others. If you are wondering what Ambrose is doing now, well, she is in prison. She is serving time for a Fraud conviction in a Northern California prison. So the only person she could be dating now would be a fellow inmate.
