Antero Pertti Elias Niittymäki (born 18 June 1980) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender who played sevens seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning and San Jose Sharks as well as four seasons in the Finnish SM-liiga for TPS. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, while playing for Team Finland, he was voted the MVP of the entire tournament. Recurring hip-problems eventually forced Niittymäki to retire at 32.
