Irish Elizabeth McCalla was her given birth name, not a nickname. I know that because I know her son Kim.

My real name is Irish Egan. Irish isnt a nickname I got. It is on my SSC and everything. I found out about Irish Mccalla because she had the same name as me, and I thought that was cool. Shes really pretty and I liked her in Sheena. I just want to know why she got that nickname. I new she was really Irish, BUT is that the only reason why she got the nickname?

Nellie Elizabeth "Irish" McCalla (December 25, 1928 – February 1, 2002) was an American actress and artist best known as the title star of the 1950s television series Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. Sheena co-starred actor Chris Drake. McCalla was also a "Varga Girl" model for pinup girl artist Alberto Vargas.
