When I met Ava in 1989, she told me her dream was to own her own restaurant. Acting was a stepping-stone to make that dream a reality. A few short years later, she opened `Ava`s` in L.A. Within a few months it closed. Maybe it was because of the huge aquarium inside that had a large, real shark in there eyeing everyone as food. Do you think?
