Tara Lipinski was an american child, whos parents sacrifice to afford her the opportunity to devoted time to her sport. It payed off. Goes to proof that hard work, teaching american values, and parental guidance results in success. God Bless the Lipinski family.

I skated with Tara Lipinski and was able to get Tara spotlighted with a short wave radio station in Brussels Belgium on her ice skating. The letter and program transcript is posted on the wall next to a 1950`s Telefunken radio and a Hallicrafters radio. The radio station has ended their english service broadcast to the U.S due to internet radio.

From the first time I saw Tara, I was enchanted... been following skating for 40 some odd yrs. She was an angel.. never saw anyone like her in my life!!! I just knew she would win the olympics!!! Just wanted to know what happened to her?? I used to just wait to see her skate!! XOXO Doni

Biography
Tara Kristen Lipinski (born June 10, 1982) is an American figure skater. At the age of 15, she won the Ladies' Singles Olympic gold medal in figure skating at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Lipinski remains the youngest individual gold medalist in the history of the Olympic Winter Games. She is also the 1997 World Champion, two-time Champions Series Final Champion (1997–1998) and 1997 U.S. Champion.
