I LOVED THE MOVIE GIA,IT WAS A VERY GOOD AND SAD MOVIE.WHAT WAS REALLY SAD WAS TO LOSE A VERY PRETTY YOUNG LADY TO DRUGS AND AIDS.IF SHE HAD THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN HER LIFE,SHE WOULD`VE BEEN ALRIGHT.THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ONE LIKE HER,REST IN PEACE.LOVE U GIA!!!!!

I saw the movie with Angelina Jolie, who was very good in it. What a shame and what a waste of life. Gia was probably responsible for getting the modeling industry to recongnize brunettes again.

Gia.. was here before her time really ...but used by many ..who did not care so much about Gia ..the person ..but Gia...the Money maker..yes she loved to party ..ride bikes...and was a little wild ..but don`t forget before she was well known ..because of her face and the beauty of it..Gia was just a normal person with a low paying job...her life here was AN UN FINISHED ONE ......AUSTRALIA

Gia Marie Carangi (January 29, 1960 – November 18, 1986) was an American fashion model during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Carangi is considered by some to be the first supermodel, although that title has been applied to others, including Janice Dickinson, Dorian Leigh, and Jean Shrimpton. Model Cindy Crawford was later referred to as "Baby Gia" due to her resemblance to Carangi.
