A Colombian institution in her own right, Tatiana has graced the covers of Shock, Aló and Soho magazines. Her scandalous pictorials, top-selling calendars and torrid magazine centerfolds have generated a mass following unequalled in her native country -- a following that is quickly spreading north.
A pure Colombian, born and bred in the heart of the country, Tatiana de los Rios had the makings of a celebrity since childhood. Her beauty and charm were undeniable and friends, neighbors and teachers alike all admitted that something special would come from Tatiana.
As with many models, Tatiana got an early start in the industry. Her first large claim to fame came in 1998 when popular Shock magazine chose her to be on the cover of their anniversary edition, an edition which sold out after one week in stores. Tatiana`s consequent rise to stardom seems quite simple. After appealing to so many men in Shock, other magazines and even Sony Music came knocking at her door.
In 1999, Tatiana was chosen by Sony to represent and pose for them in some publicity shots. During promotional tours for her work, Tatiana grew incredibly popular and claimed to have signed over 600 autographs every two hours.
