Alizée Jacotey (born 21 August 1984) is a French recording artist, known professionally as Alizée, a registered trade name. Born and raised in Ajaccio, Corsica. She has the best selling French-speaking album in the last 20 years than more of four million records worldwide only in 2001 and is recognized as the most iconic French recording artist of the 21st century. Considered to be one of the "100 Most Sexiest Women of the World" by FHM magazine, and being an influential figure in music, she is known for continuously reinventing both her music and image, and for retaining a standard of autonomy within the recording industry.
