Michael Stipe doesn`t need to explain to anyone whom he may or may not be dating. He`s a fantastic musician; he loves what he does and he works hard. He`s amazing!

Only one thing matters - Michael Stipe is a superb musician. He chooses to be quiet about his private life, so that`s all we need or have the right to know. Just be grateful for the man and his music.

WHO could possible CARE what this man does in his personal sexual life? OR.. anyone`s life for that matter! He`s an artist in his field, has friends, family, loved ones in his life ... LEAVE him the hell alone, just buy his music and enjoy it, pass that .. mind your own business. He`s not a train wreck... he`s a human.

John Michael Stipe (born January 4, 1960) is an American singer and the lead vocalist for the alternative rock band R.E.M. Stipe has become well-known (and occasionally parodied) for the "mumbling" style of his early career and for his complex, surreal lyrics, as well as his social and political activism. Stipe is in charge of the band's visual image, often selecting album artwork and directing many of the band's music videos. Stipe's work extends outside of the music industry: he runs his own film production companies, C-00 and Single Cell Pictures.
