Biography
Yelena Majorova Mayorova)was popular Russian actress. Born in the Russian Extreme Orient, in Sakhalinsk, in the family of simple workers, she made a difficult way to the stage career. Yelena was graduated from Moscow GITIS theatre school in 1981. In 1982-1983 she worked in Moscow Sovremennik theatre and since 1983 she was a leading actress in Moscow MHAT theatre. Yelea also played more than 30 roles in movies. By 1997 her insatisfaction with herself resulted in a kind of mental desease. One 24th of August on 1997 she scorched herself. It was done in a fit as then the ran in flames into the street calling for help. So why her death was not recognized as a suicide.
