I know that Michael will make a brilliant Jacob Black in both Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. AS the story progresses in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, the role of Jacob becomes tougher and tougher. I have seen Michael act, and he is a very strong actor for a very strong role as Jacob. He is taller and strongly built for the role, and of course very handsome too. I love Taylor, but I do not think he will be a strong enough actor to play Jacob in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

I think that Taylor L. did a good job in Twilight but a lot of these people are right. He doesn`t have the right physical features to match the Jacob Black we know from the book. Michael would fit perfectly. Yes he`s 26 but that just helps him because Jacob isn`t suppose to look 16. I`m not hating on Taylor or anything I`m just saying that Michael would look and probably perform as the better choice.To tell the truth I kind of have mixed feelings for this decision. I would be upset if Taylor L. didn`t end up being Jacob Black in New Moon, yet I would understand it if Michael Copon got the role. And who says he`s being arogent? He`s just stating the facts.

I really hope MC doesn`t get the role of Jacob Black. He came across so arrogant in that interview that he managed to alienate most of the Twilight fans. Taylor is Jacob Black! Taylor has been working out since Twilight was completed and has such a strong fan base that the director would be stupid not to go with Taylor!

I`m a twilight saga series fan since the release of the first book in 2005. I become more excited to the second book New Moon. When the announcement came that Twilight will turn into a movie, I was really excited. All the cast look exactly the way I picture them. Except for Taylor who played Jacob Black. I was kinda disappointed because he doesn`t look the way I pictured him base on Meyers description as being beautiful, tall and well built. When rumors spread that they are considering to replace Taylor with another actor, the first person that came to my mind was Michael Copon. He doesn`t have a native American blood, but he`s actually Asian and looks like Jacob Black.Atleast 90 look a like of Jacob Black.

I think that MC should replace Taylor. In the first place Taylor should not have been Jacob in twilight. I know that the first movie doesn`t have big budget. But I think they look for an actor that look like Jacob Black in everyway, Taylor doesn`t look like like Jacob at all. Atleast MC is good looking enough to be Jacob Black.

So what? if Bella`s character will kiss a 10 year older guy. Duh that should not be an issue ok. They are actor and actress that are given the opportunity to play the role, not to compalain regarding kissing an older guy. Be logical people admit it Taylor doesn`t look like Jacob Black at all. Learn to read the book and use your imagination while reading. I`m sure you will realize that Michael Copon looks like Jacob Black more.

I`ve seen some of the interview of MC. The one that he was eating with a friend in a resto. And then someone approach or should I say interrupted them while they were eating. He didn`t say anything arrogant. He said that he would like to be Jacob Black, it`s a dream role for him. So what`s arrogant about that. And he recently deny that he claims that he will play Jacob Black. He deserves to be Jacob Black ok. I don`t think that he trash talk Taylor. He`s only telling the truth that he`s 200lbs, Taylor is only 140, MC is 6`2 while Taylor is only 5`9. GO MC you should be Jacob Black in New Moon.Be realistic fans of Taylor. MC looks like Jacob Black more than Taylor does.

Taylor is a wonderful person and actor--but TOO young to play Jake in upcomings. Since "method acting" is seems so vital on set -MC would be better choice long term. He is a great personality--and did you notice beautiful too?!!
