There was a short whirlwind love affair/engagement to Ruth Buchanan of Spokane, Washington. This was probably in the the 1930's or thereabout.

One of my favorite movies of all time is `Little Boy Lost` 1953. It was so touching and I must give credit to Bing for his very convincing and moving performance.

Bing is the greatest entertainer of all time. When you consider his versatility - singing in a variety of genres, there is no one who comes even close to him. For example, can you imagine any other crooner who could sing country and western like he could. No way! And nobody, repeat, NOBODY, could sing the American popular standard like him, and nobody could put across the sense of loss and absence the way he did. Listen to Since You Went Away and When Day is Done, as examples. And he sang with other performers like no one else could. I could go on and on, but let`s end it here.
