Always loved him... even when I was a kid, I used to paint the nails of my left hand black, and leave the other side. No one but my mom knew why, I didn`t even have to tell her and she knew, because of Freddie Mercury.

I don`t care what life style someone leads,no one deserves that kind of death. My grandbaby is 4 and she loves her Queen CD. I`m just glad that she can grow up knowing that kind of music.He was a wonderful singer and appears to have been a wonderful person and that makes his death even more painful.But even in death he leaves his legacy in his music for my grandbaby`s generation to enjoy. Freddie may you rest in peace and know you are not forgotten!

Biography
Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; Gujarati: ફરોખ બલ્સારા, Pharōkh Balsārā); 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band Queen. As a performer, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and powerful vocals over a four-octave range. As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "We Are the Champions". In addition to his work with Queen, he led a solo career, and also occasionally served as a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists. He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.
