Biography
Beverley Owen (née Ogg, sometimes credited as Beverly Owen) (May 13, 1937 in Ottumwa, Iowa) is a classically-trained American actress perhaps most widely known for having played the role of Marilyn Munster during the first season of The Munsters (a role she disliked, and only accepted out of contractual obligations to Universal Studios). After 13 episodes, Owen left the program to get married, and was replaced by Pat Priest. Beginning in 1971 she appeared for two years on Another World, after which she retired from television and chose to perform exclusively in live theatre.
