When Mac Davis wrote, "Oh Lord It's Hard To Be Humble," he gave the world the gift of levity. His performance of that facetiously-written song sparkled with a contagious form of uplifting humor and verve that continues to spread throughout our family and friends year after year. As soon as the song hit the air waves, we bought the album; and, much to the amusement & amazement of family and friends, and embarrassment of our seven children, my husband, Bill, adopted the "Humble" chorus as his theme song, not because he actually thought he was perfect in every way; but, because he knew he wasn't. And that was the point. It was a joke. Fun! Fun! Fun! God willing he will celebrate his 98 Birthday on September 26 and still enjoys the kind of fun that song always evokes. Happy Birthday Bill; and thanks to Mac Davis for the endearing gift of levity that has enriched Bill’s life and has helped him to age gracefully and with humor.

Where can I find a copy of "Til I Made It With You" - either the song or the album?

I have followed Mac Davis' career since the 70's. He was hot hot hot... Saw him twice in Toronto and was right up front. Still listen to his music. I've kept all my records and am transfering them to CDs. Still love ya kid!!
