Mars....I think you are totally onto something. I saw too that Shannon had happy smiles and seemed like he loved what he does...Now...I think lots of us are noticing that spark is gone from him. Something has been lost for him and he seems resigned to it. Very sad.

Hello girls! This is the first time I post here. I want to say something about Shannon. I got the impression that he was happiest when playing with Antoine Beck. I saw some videos of them, and he was really happy, but now I do not see it in his eyes, as some people have said here, he looks tired and sad. I've realized that Jared has a strong influence about Shannon. People say that Jared is manipulative and I'm seeing that this may be one reason why Shannon gave up his project to record the new album with 30STM. They said in interviews that they would be stopped for a while, so Shannon went on with his life. Sufficed to say that Jared would record a new album and Shannon broke with AB. That was weird. I would like to see Shannon doing something that would make him happy, but with 30STM, I do not see him happy as before. I think Shannon is afraid of disappointing Jared.

wow Anna...a few people express their opinion and it's "judgement" Why is it that we must only say nice things...sometimes things aren't so nice with the guys and it's the truth. It's like Jared...notice how he only retweets when ppl love the album, or shows the critic reviews that love it. Some of us like to see all sides of things..not just the pretty perfect facade.

Beck tweeted not long after there falling out made the comment that someone he worked with was fake and didn't know how to write music. I'm guessing he was referring to Shannon. I don't think Jared is a very good writer as well. which is why he works with Jamie.

Things that some of us have known for a while...are starting to become apparent to everyone. I just want the truth to come on on who Jared and Shannon really are. They are human and very flawed...if people would stop thinking they are some kind of idols, it would help them get away from the insanity of the world they have created...with help from their fans.

Guys, he's exhausted. They tour tour tour. Barely even had a break in there. Even when they weren't touring they were constantly practicing. Clearly he is tired. Jared is fine with going constantly. That's his mentality and who he is. Shannon's the opposite, but he can't really do anything about it. I feel sorry for him.

People are asking whether Shannon is ok with this latest ploy to get album sales....I'd say just look at his face in pictures or in interview....Shannon is NOT a happy man. A total turnaround from the fun loving smiling guy we knew from 2011. very sad.

You can tell by looking at him that he is exhausted. He is so over this touring thing and being a band. He has to go along with it though because of Jared. They have been doing this for 15 years and still don't even get that much recognition. They are never going to have their big break, it would have happened by now. The majority of fans are all in different countries. They can't even sell out in the States, hence why they are giving out free tickets. It's the only way they can fill the venue. It's kind of sad. Think about newer bands who have came along and have HUGE fan bases. Mumford and Sons, etc. These guys are young and new to the music industry and are getting way more attention than a band that has been doing it for years. Mars and the guys are getting old...
