Biography
Desiree Casado (born August 18, 1985) is an actress most notable for her role of Gabriella Rodriguez on Sesame Street. Playing the role since 1993, taking over from a previous actress when the character was SORASed, Gabi is the daughter of Luis and Maria. Her character has become a more integral part of the show's cast in the last couple of years, perhaps mostly to fulfill Sesame Workshop's need to sustain youth among the cast, as the old guard of the show ages.
