Eamonn Holmes (born 3 December 1959) is an award-winning Northern Irish journalist and broadcaster, best known as a presenter on Sky News and This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford. He is based at Sky News Centre in West London. He is known for his work on British television as a journalist and presenter of many years' standing, for ITV presenting Farming Ulster and Good Evening Ulster on Ulster Television, GMTV, The Sports Show, and as the main co-presenter of This Morning and main presenter of ITV's coverage of the Phil Taylor vs. Raymond van Barneveld showdown at the Wembley Conference Centre in 1999, and for the BBC, Open Air from Manchester, Songs of Praise, Holiday, How Do They Do That? and the National Lottery quiz show Jet Set for BBC One, and was the host of the Sudo-Q quiz show and the main presenter of the BBC's coverage of the World Darts Championship in 1991 and 1992 on BBC Two.
