Justin Daniel York (born November 26, 1982 in Grantsburg, WI) is the brother of guitarist Taylor York of Paramore and was the guitarist of Christian rock band Tait. He joined the band in 2001 when he was barely 19 years old, replacing Pete Stewart. He subsequently left the band in 2006. In early 2007 he co-produced a rock album for the band Over Ashes, due for release in July. When York was five years old, he and his family moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he grew up in a very Christian and musically gifted family. It was his father, Peter York (a music executive at Sparrow Records), himself a skilled guitarist, who taught his son the instrument.
