Biography

Born and raised in Detroit, Jeff moved to Southern California in 1979 to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an actor. After studying in San Diego and appearing in several national television commercials, Jeff began his own acting workshops with top acting coaches and casting directors as teachers. He also owned a successful landscape company in the La Jolla area. In 1984, Jeff finally turned his landscaping business over to his brother and headed to Los Angeles where he immediately landed guest starring roles in top television series such as "Three's a Crowd" (1984), "Dynasty" (1981), and "Dallas" (1978)."

Shorty thereafter, his career took off. He won a series regular role in the HBO hit series, "1st & Ten" (1984) as pro football player, Jamie Waldron, for a couple of years. Jeff was then offered the lead role in the NBC series "Nasty Boys" (1989) as the sexy, Harley-riding Paul Morrissey. After "Nasty Boys" (1989), he played the notorious Capt. John Boon in Pen Densham's cult classic "Space Rangers" (1993). He then went on to star in a recurring role in the popular series "Melrose Place" (1992) as bad-boy Chaz. In the years following "Melrose Place" (1992), Jeff starred as the leading man in two worldwide syndicated television series: "Viper" (1996) as FBI agent Thomas Cole; then, D.R.E.A.M. Team (1999) (TV) as undercover James Bond-like agent, Zach Hamilton.

Kaake has also starred in several films and television movies including Club Med (1986) (TV), Seeds of Tragedy (1991) (TV), Bad Influence (1990), Border Shootout (1990) (Glenn Ford's last movie), Lady Boss (1992) (TV), The Return of Ironside (1993) (TV), Hart to Hart: Two Harts in 3/4 Time (1995) (TV), Hollywood Wives: The New Generation (2003) (TV), and Prometheus and the Butcher (2006).

Jeff's tenure in the entertainment industry has taken its natural course to screen writing and producing. He and his wife, Kim Pucci, now head Lone Eagle Productions where they have several projects in development including "The If Club," "Ghost Riders," "Line In The Sand," "Radioplane," "Cetacea," and "Through the Eyes of a Child."
