i too really miss hastings japp and miss lemon it is such a shame without poirot's family. the stories now are so dark since agatha christie's family have taken control insisting that they are made in this way. what a shame they think they know better than the television programme makers and the fans. i used to love the programme but now am just not bothered whether i watch it or not it is just another murder programme like any other. such a shame.

My sentiments entirely, arnie davies; my failing to understand why and how two pivotal characters can be axed from such a series, and particularly when Lemon and Hastings, were essential to the plot, and were clearly outstanding actors and crowd-pullers, from a ratings point-of-view ? Let`s also not forget another shock-casualty,namely Inspector Jaap. Somebody needs to be carpeted at best, or better-still, booted !

I love Miss Lemon. I hope to see her in other English shows. Miss Moran looks younger and much prettier in the photos than she did in Poirot.
