Christopher Peter Mears (born January 20, 1978) is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers in 2003. He is currently a pitching coordinator with the Boston Red Sox of MLB. As a player, the native of Ottawa, Ontario, threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) tall and weighed 190 pounds (86 kg) (13 stone, 8 pounds).
