Harold Wayne Smith (December 7, 1930 – January 9, 2020) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball from 1955 to 1964 as a utilityman — a catcher, third baseman and first baseman. He played for five different teams but, is most notable for his integral role during the 1960 World Series as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates. During his playing career, he threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall, and weighed 195 pounds (88 kg).
