The first time i heard Steve Perry's voice was in 1981 and i was 16 yrs old. I was in the ICU at the hospital recovering from neck surgery that saved my life. When i heard his voice i thought he was an angel singing and to this day when i hear his voice it's like listening to an angel all over again. I am now 46 yrs old and absolutely love listening to Steve Perry's voice.

I just saw Journey with the new singer. Where is Steve Perry. The new guy over sings every song. Saw them with Foreigner and Nightranger. Foreigner's new singer isn't bad.

I agree with Samantha. Journey is not the same without Steve Perry. Journey and Foreigner are coming to Kansas City next September, and I have no wish to go, since Steve won't be there. Journey's new lead has a good voice, but cannot begin to compare to the real thing!

The only reason why journey got a star on the hollywood walk of fame,was because of steve perry!it`s time that steve get`s his own star on the hollywood walk of fame,and while he is still around to enjoy it we fan`s need to lobby the powers that be,to make this a reality for steve and this way he will know just how much he is valued and appreciate`ed by fans the world over,it`s time we give as much back to him as he has give`n to us thrue his music and while we still have the chance! please get the word out any way you can as this canadain fan can`t waite to see the look on steve perry`s face when he get`s his own STAR on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME !!!steve you have a lot of fan`s here in canada who miss hearing you sing.i do hope that one day soon we will again hear from the voice

Steve Perry is an amazing vocalist. I have to say, i have turly not been influenced by music untile i listened to Journey. I have know lost track of how manny college papers i have writen on Mr.perry, but i will continue to do so when the operutunity presents its self. I love him and wish only the best for steve.

Musicians and singers of years past were very hard working and gifted individuals. Before the days of music video, bands and singers were so amazing due to the fact they had to reach their fans through their music. Music was about music and not about looks or image. When you listened to singers like Steve, their music told a story and you did not need a video to convey image. My hat is off to Steve and hope someday, music will be of the same caliber.

I`ve been listening to Steve since I was 12. I`d save up all my babysitting money to see Journey in concert. We`d crank up my parents old console stereo every time Journey came on the radio. eventually blowing out the speakers! LOL

The first time I heard about Journey, Steve Perry in Germany, was 2 years ago. Very late!!! Enjoy the music every day now with the impressive voice of Steve. Visit also the nice places he discribed, in South California. And he is right, its very beautiful.

I do not have a voice to sing, but know what a beautiful voice is... that is Steve Perry. Congradulations to arnel he seems like a nice man. Sorry though. because there is only one lead singer to me and thats SP. He sends chills down my spine and brings tears to my eyes when I listen to his god given voice. You are so loved and missed steve, and I wish you peace and happiness 4ever. PS. I also read Steve is making a album with Russ Miller and Randy Jackson said his voice is still golden. He does miss his fans and was listening to us. God please let this mean a tour!!!

STEVE PERRY IS MY LIFELINE. HE IS WITH ME IN MY BAD TIMES AND GOOD TIMES. HE LIFTS ME WHEN I NEED IT. WHEN HE SINGS MY HEART SOARS TO PLACES I HAVE FORGOTTEN IN MY 50 YEARS.MY DAUGHTERS NOW OWN ALL HIS CDS AND THEY LOVE HIM AS WELL AS MY HUSAND AND I DO! I HAVE LOVED ALL THE CDS AND ALL HIS LOOKS. I have been with steve since day one with Journey... I loved his voice then.. but now., His voice.. you can just close your eyes and it seems like he is right here.. especially with the ballads.. He is So gorgeous.. His heart is beautiful.. His emotions are wonderful.. just set and watch him as he goes thru the emotions of singing.. he sings like he is singing to each and every one the members of his audience.. He is just Perrylicious.. and the best Voice I have ever heard or ever will hear... I love ya very much Steve.. thank you for being in my life thru your music.. and Thank you Ray and Mary for having such a remarkable human being.. you called your son. Perry On!!!

I love Steve Perry....I have been one of his biggest fans since my teenage years. I just uploaded a couple pictures but I have no idea where they went. I am new to this. Steve`s voice is so mellow and soothing, I could listen to him all night.

Stephen Ray "Steve" Perry (born January 22, 1949) is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Journey during their most commercially successful periods from 1977–1987 and 1995–1998. Perry had a successful solo career between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s.
