Rock was a great leading man. Liked him on McMillan and Wife. I wonder how many leading ladies had their hearts broken because Rock was unable to come out in tear of destroying his career.

these actress and actors are wrong. He never dated Jim Neighbors. The story behind them no pun intented was that his friends sent out a wedding invite for a false party. The invite said to join the two in marriage making rock`s name rock pile ha ha. Rock said that women were unclean and he dated many more men than women

ROCK HUDSON was a top star of the 50s/60s/70s.His best film LAST SUNSET made in 1961 with CAROL LYNLEY and Kirk Douglas A romantic hero on screen but a very sad figure after 1966 in a horrid private life.

Mr.Hudson was such a romancer, but i never thought he would be gay..i love him so much gay or not, he will remain in my heart forever.No-one can ever replace him ever. He is and will always be the wonderful person and gorgeous looking guy in history. RIP love you lots xx

Biography
Rock Hudson (born Roy Harold Scherer, Jr., November 17, 1925 – October 2, 1985), was an American film and television actor. Though widely known as a leading man in the 1950s and 1960s (often starring in romantic comedies opposite Doris Day), Hudson is also recognized for dramatic roles in films such as Giant and Magnificent Obsession. In later years, Hudson found success in television, starring in the popular mystery series McMillan & Wife and landing a recurring role on the prime time soap opera Dynasty.
