Trevor Rees-Jones (also known as Trevor Rees; born March 3, 1968) is the former bodyguard of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed. He was badly injured in the car accident in Paris that killed Diana, Dodi, and the driver Henri Paul on 31 August 1997. Because he suffered a serious head injury in the crash, Rees-Jones does not recall particulars of the accident. Early media reports claimed he survived because he was wearing a seatbelt. However, a December 2006 Operation Paget technical examination said that none of the occupants of the car were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
