DJ Mike T (born Michael T. Bryant) started his career as a professional DJ in the late 1980s working with the underground rap groups Sir Jinks & Dazzie Dee M.C. Quicksand . Soon afterwards, D.J. Mike T became acquainted with MC Eiht and Compton's Most Wanted as M.C. Quicksand and C.M.W. both appeared on the Sound Control Mob Compton Compilation album "Under Investigation" . Although Comptons Most Wanted already had a DJ (Ant Capone), he was later replaced by D.J. Mike T due to contract issues. Most members on The Compton Compilation went on to make solo projects in which DJ Mike T worked on such Ms. Vee & The Flava System A.K.A. Vanilla "C" , Positive Generation A.K.A. P.G. 13 , The Legion Of Boom A.K.A. D.J. Battery Brain & M.C. Looney Tunes A.K.A. Loon-E-Toons . Mike T laid down cuts and scratches over the group's first three albums, as well as, musical production , the M.C. Eiht solo releases which featured Compton's Most Wanted, and hooked up with various underground West Coast hip-hop groups as a DJ/ Producer. In 1993 Mike T and Inglewood-based rapper Loon-E-Toon co-released a Ep-length album. Aside from his turntable trickery, Mike T also programmed and produced many of the classic CMW beats alongside DJ Slip. Besides D.B.A. and incorporated recording releases, D.J. Mike T has recorded with numerous artist such as Lady Fresh , I Smooth 7 featuring Mista Mad Pup , D.J. Renegeade feat Havikk & M.C. Looney Tunes The X-Men "X-Men Revenge" , M.C. T Bear " Non Belivers" & M.C. Shaheed "Addressing The Blackman" , X-Factor . DJ Mike T got an early kick in turntable mix-ology providing p.a. music to high schools in the Los Angeles County area in the mid 80s. Soon to move to larger venues such as Skateland U.S.A., Hollywood Live hosted by Diamond Productions, The Hollywood Palladium (Mental Mondays) hosted by Bell- Biv- DeVoe, Paradise 24 (The Circus & The Arena), The Olympic Auditorium, The Hop Club, Eve After Dark Club, Mr. J's Club, Vertigos Club, Three Palms Club feat. Squally C, Myrons Ballroom, The Sharks Club, The Grand Avenue Club, The Glam Slam (L.A.), The Upside Down/China Club, Club Joshuas, The Regency West, The Current Affair Club, The Mirage Club and many picnics, backyard, house party, fashion shows, weddings, albulm release parties mostly located in the Los Angeles County Area.
