Petersen is a 1974 Australian drama film directed by Tim Burstall. Tony Petersen (Jack Thompson), a retired australian rules football star, enrolls at university to study for an arts degree. After several sexual encounters he returns to his wife Susie (Jacki Weaver) and drops out of university.
