Blue are an English boy band consisting of Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe. The band originally formed in 2000, releasing three studio albums, that all peaked at number one, and sixteen singles, across a five year period. During this time, the band recorded with worldwide superstars, including Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Lil' Kim. The group announced in 2004 that they planned to go on hiatus for two years, although in 2005, confirmed that they had actually split up to embark on individual solo projects. releasing a number of greatest hits and compilation albums taking a retrospective of their five-year career. On 28 April 2009, the band announced that they had reformed, and would return to the stage in the summer of that year. The band represented the United Kingdom at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany with the song "I Can", and shortly after, confirmed the release of their comeback album.
