He was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999, the 14th Lok Sabha in 2004 , the 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 and the 17th Lok Sabha in 2019 from Sitapur constituency in Uttar Pradesh state. He un 2019 again won 4th time from Sitapur by as BJP candidate by 1lakh 1 thousand votes General Elections.
