Settimo "Big Sam" Accardi (October 23, 1902 in Vita, Sicily – December 3, 1977 Newark, N.J. was a New Jersey mobster who served as capo in the Lucchese crime family's Jersey crew. He controlled criminal operations in Northern New Jersey and was one of the largest heroin traffickers in the New York area during the 1950s.
