Elaan (Hindi: ????, Urdu: ?????, translation: Manifesto) is a Bollywood film, released in January 2005. Elaan is an explosive tale of a nation on the edge, pushed to the margins by diabolic elements out to ignite global terror. More precisely, it is a mission film about five characters and their elaan against one man. Produced by Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jain and directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film stars Arjun Rampal, John Abraham, Rahul Khanna, Amisha Patel, Lara Dutta and Mithun Chakraborty. The film marked the return of Mithun Chakraborty to Bollywood film industry after starring in low budget productions based at Ooty for a decade.
