Forbidden Paradise is a 1924 American silent drama film produced by Famous Players-Lasky and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was directed by German film director Ernst Lubitsch, a recent immigrant to the United States. The film is based on a play by Lajos Biró about Catherine the Great starring Pola Negri in that role. The film marked Clark Gable's second film appearance.
