Michael Lee Bruner (born July 23, 1956) is an American former competition swimmer, two-time Olympic champion, and former world record-holder. He competed at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Quebec, where he received a gold medal in 200-meter butterfly (also world record), and a gold medal in 4x200-meter freestyle relay. He received a gold medal at the 1978 World Aquatics Championships in Berlin.
