Biography

Yvonne Maria Schaefer is an Actress and Producer. She is president of YMC Films Film Production. In her native Frankfurt/Main, Germany Yvonne Maria began early on her career as a model and actress. As a child Schaefer studied ballet while also doing theatre and performed in several stage productions. Her Model career started of when she was 3 years old. She was discovered by a child photographer, who worked for major European catalogue companies. Later on Schaefer worked internationally as a Model with Agency’s in Europe, Asia and South Africa. Her modelling work has included campaigns for many top designers and sportswear companies including Ferrari, Gucci, Nike, Wolford, Triumph. In the 1990s meanwhile studying psychology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt / Germany, Schaefer resumed her work as an actress and studied with prestigious acting teachers and coaches. Later on Schaefer worked worldwide in numerous Films, TV Series and stage productions. Yvonne Maria Schaefer appeared internationally in major news papers and magazines, such as Hello, Maxim, Bunte, New York Post, Bild, Daily News, RTL Explosive and ZDF Hallo Deutschland. Through her passion and participation in extreme sports, the Maxim Lifestyle Magazine voted Yvonne Maria Schaefer as the "Action Girl".

After living part time in Mallorca and Malaga/ Spain, where she also worked in Spanish films, such as Trece, (as the female lead), Schaefer moved in 2008 to New York City.

In the States Yvonne Maria Schaefer has been successfully working as an actress and producer. With her production company YMC Films, Yvonne co-produced the Thriller,“The Child“, an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sebastian Fitzek. Yvonne stars alongside Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), playing the role of Sophie Stern, Roberts´ character’s ex-wife. The film, Forget Me Not, directed by award winning director Federico Castelluccio (Sopranos, Pink Panther 2, Made), in which Yvonne Maria starred in, had international success in Film Festivals. Yvonne worked as the female lead on Keep Your Enemies Closer, alongside Peter Greene (the Bounty Hunter, Mask, Pulp Fiction) and Manny Perez (The Ministers, La Soga). In the award winning film "Lily of the Feast" she had a scene with Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas, Dick Tracy). She filmed APT.5K opposite Mel Gorham (Carlito's way, Smoke).

In 2012 Yvonne is signed on to work in two upcoming feature films: Numba one and Three can keep a secret



Personal life

Relationships and children 2008 Yvonne Maria Schaefer began a romantic relationship with actor, director Federico Castelluccio, they met at a premiere in New York City. The Couple Federico Castelluccio and Yvonne Maria Schaefer co-starred in the 2009 film "Forget Me Not", which had international success.
