The Super Cops is a 1974 film starring Ron Leibman and David Selby, directed by Gordon Parks. The film is based on the book "The Super Cops: The True Story Of The Cops Called Batman and Robin" by L.H. Whittemore. The true story of two policemen known as "Batman and Robin" on the streets of New York City. The film was released the year after the successful cop movie Serpico (also based on a true story).
