Visitors is a 2003 movie dealing with the experiences of a woman sailing solo on a yacht around the world as the loneliness makes her start to lose her sanity... or does it? The movie was directed by Richard Franklin, and was produced by Jennifer Hadden. Visitors stars Radha Mitchell in the lead role, Susannah York as Georgia's mother Carolyn, and Dominic Purcell as Georgia's boyfriend Luke. This movie in some ways close to the theme of "The Shining" (1980) by Stanley Kubrick. Director strongly creates the atmosphere of isloation and cabin-fever phenomena in the lonely girl on the water.
