Wanted is a 2009 Bollywood action film directed by Prabhu Deva, starring Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, Prakash Raj, Vinod Khanna and Mahesh Manjrekar in the lead roles. It is a remake of Puri Jagannadh's Telugu hit Pokiri, starring Mahesh Babu and Illeana D'Cruz. The film is about a young IPS officer, who goes undercover as a gangster to infiltrate the criminal underworld. It was released on 18 September 2009, and broke many records at the box office upon release.
