Catherine D. Kimball, known as Kitty Kimball (born February 7, 1945), is the departing Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. In 1992, she became the first woman elected to her state's highest court. Before that, in 1983, she was the first female judge in the 18th Judicial District.
