Lara Scandar (Arabic:لارا اسكندر) is an American-born Arabic singer. Her father is part Italian and part Egyptian while her mother is Lebanese. Her and her family moved from the USA to Cairo, Egypt when she was a child. She was a semi-finalist on the Lebanese reality talent competition Star Academy during the 6th season, representing Egypt in 2009. Her debut album is named "About A Girl".
