Eric A. Wordekemper (August 8, 1983 in Storm Lake, Iowa) is a professional baseball pitcher. He bats and throws right-handed. Wordekemper attended Creighton University and was drafted by the Yankees in 2005. After making his professional debut that season, Wordekemper has played at multiple levels of the Yankees' organization. During the 2007 season, he was named to the Florida State League all-star team and won the "Pitcher of the Year" award for that league.
