He and Avril are a great talented couple. He is a better guitar player, but she is a better singer. In sonwriting no one is better than the other. Avril and Sum 41 should make a song together. She should go on tour with Sum 41 and not the Jonas Brothers.

Deryck Jason Whibley (born March 21, 1980) is a Canadian musician and producer, best known for his work as the guitarist, lead vocalist, songwriter and producer of the Juno Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated rock band Sum 41. Whibley married fellow singer Avril Lavigne in 2006. The couple occasionally performed together, and they have spoken about their relationship in interviews. It was announced on September 17, 2009 that Lavigne and Whibley separated. Lavigne initiated divorce proceedings in October 2009 claiming irreconcilable differences.
