Lotti Golden`s Motor-Cycle LP, (Atlantic Records) not yet on CD is in the top 100 LPs of all time (my opinion). Golden is gorgeous, an accomplished but funky singer, an incredible poet with a unique world view which she makes no bones about on Motor-Cycle. A whole new generation of fans are discovering Golden`s work due to the Internet. Atlantic thought enough of Golden`s talent to sign her to the label, yet failed to promote the LP. I hear Atlantic was supposed to have signed a new artist, Stacey Wilde, (very good) and then blew the deal. What`s the story with that label?
