What does the Diary of a Wimpy Kid have in common with The Vampire Diaries?
Devon Bostick, who plays Rodrick in Wimpy Kid, has actually known TVD star Nina Dobrev for a while. Who knew?!
In an exclusive interview with JSYK, Devon admitted that him and Nina are actually great friends. Not only did the fellow Canadians have their first acting class together, but they've had a couple of acting gigs together too.
"I played her ex-boyfriend in Degrassi and in 'The Poet' I was accused of killing her baby," he said.
We were curious if she was still friends with him even after all of the enemy roles. "Despite the mad tension...yes," he laughed.
After realizing the connection between the two stars, we couldnt help but wonder if history could repeat itself. Perhaps the two will star in another show or film together? Better yet, maybe Devon can try a stab at a vamp role. We can only hope.
