Abismo de pasión (Abyss of Passion) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Angelli Nesma Medina and written by Caridad Bravo Adams for Televisa. It is a remake of Cañaveral de Pasiones, produced by Humberto Zurita and Christian Bach in 1996. Angelique Boyer and David Zepeda starred as the protagonists, co-starring Mark Tacher and Livia Brito, while Blanca Guerra, Altair Jarabo, Sabine Moussier and Salvador Zerboni starred as the antagonists. Though 250 half-hour episodes were planned to be produced, 20 more were produced with a total of 270.
