Aaron James Civale (sih-VAH-lee; born June 12, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians / Guardians, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs. Civale played college baseball at Northeastern University, and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the third round of the 2016 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Indians.
