Adam Mahomed Habib (born 1965) is a South African professor of political geography, incoming director of the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London as of 1 January 2021, and the former Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, South Africa. He officially assumed the position of Vice-Chancellor on 1 June 2013 when the term of his predecessor Loyiso Nongxa ended. He is also a former deputy vice-chancellor of the University of Johannesburg.
